  Three. A First World War paybook to 1310 Corporal/CQMS Corporal Alfred J. Ivany, Royal Newfoundland Regiment. Accompanied by a card Disembarkation Ticket and an original card Release Certificate named to Ivany, dated 30 July 1921. Alfred James Ivany attested into the First Newfoundland Regiment at the age of 19 on 4 March 1915. He served at Gallipoli and in France. Ivany was married in England on 12 November 1918, just after the armistice, and he continued his service after war's end, being employed in a clerical capacity in England and in Newfoundland. Alfred Ivany died in St. John's, Newfoundland on 6 August 1979. Some very scarce paper ephemera attributed to a member of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment.

One. CEF Death Certificate. Named to 733669 Private Herman Wesley Roy, Royal Canadian Regiment, who was killed in action on 31 October 1917. Roy has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission's Menin Gate, Ypres, Belgium.
